Volunteer Needs
RACE DAY ASSISTANCE

Registration/Packet Pick up

20 people
Conseco Fieldhouse

• Welcome participants
• Give participants race information, t-shirt and timing chips
• Direct participants in and out of this busy area to keep things running smoothly

Costume Contest

Conseco Fieldhouse

• Encourage people to enter contest (lots of people come in costume, but do not know about the contest, so round them up!)
• Help them fill out the form to get them registered

Course Monitors

10 people
Along the course

• Stationed along the route at specific intersections, help participants cross any busy intersections and cheer them onto the finish!

Water Station

10 people
Water Station on course

* Help set-up water station
• Distribute water to runners/walkers
• Cheer them onto the finish as they pass by
• Assist in clean-up

Finish Line – Post Race Food/Drink

20 people
Conseco Fieldhouse

• Help set up finish chute area
• Remove timing chips from shoes of participants until last finisher crosses the line
• Distribute post race food and drink to participants as they cross the finish line
• Round up kids for the Santa Chase event
• Direct people back to Conseco Fieldhouse for coffee and hot chocolate
• Assist in clean-up
